Back in October of 2015, because of a road rage incident, a precious little 4 year old girl named Lilly Garcia had been shot and had died of her injuries. This makes me very sad and angers me because of what had happened to her. When I had seen a picture of her smiling, (she was so adorable) that totally broke my heart.
This shouldn’t be happening. There is no reason to get angry if someone cuts off someone else on the road. I could understand the anger, if that causes an accident. Even then, people need to control their anger and not make the situation worse. If there is no accident, there is no reason at all to become angry or enraged. Let it go! It’s just not worth it!
People usually let their emotions control their actions. People who let road rage consume them are thinking on the same level as an animal. We are all human beings and we are all intelligent. This separates us from the animals. People need to think on a higher level and not let the little things get to them. When they are in a situation where another driver cuts them off or does some other similar action, the person who was cut off needs to take a deep breath and instantly clear their head when they feel their anger rise to the surface. They need to think with deductive reasoning and to snap out of their “tunnel vision”.
They need to think logically and control their emotions and their actions. They need to think about the consequences to them if the act out on the other driver. They need to ask themselves, “What is to be gained and what would the consequences be for themselves if they violently assault the offending driver?” It isn’t worth throwing one’s life away over basically NOTHING! It’s not worth taking another innocent’s life over being cut off and especially if there wasn’t an accident caused by that. There are more important things to be concerned about in life. It’s not worth assaulting or killing another driver over NOTHING!
As I mentioned we are humans and are the most intelligent species on this planet. We are all intelligent enough to control our emotions and to have a higher understanding. So the next time someone else cuts off the other on the road or does something wrong, let it go. No harm has been done. All humans make mistakes, that is all our common flaws. So just let it go. Forgive their errors and be thankful for being a more skilled driver and that an accident has been avoided. It’s not worth throwing one’s life away over NOTHING!
If someone really want to take another human being’s life, it isn’t that physically difficult for them to do. Because of this, everyone has great power which requires great responsibility, understanding, reasoning, and logic.
I also have a temper too that pops up from time to time, but I also have a mental mechanism that instantly intercedes my hostile emotions and keeps it in check. This is so that I can handle a situation logically. If I were to allow my anger to control my actions and not use my sophisticated human brain every time someone has been offensive to me, I would be serving 24 life sentences in prison. But since I use my sophisticated brain to logically control my emotions and actions, I’m not in prison and I don’t have to worry about dropping the soap. I still have a clean criminal record and I can get a job and enjoy my freedom! I don’t let the little things get to me. It’s not worth throwing my life away, especially over NOTHING!
