Have humans lost their minds? What is so very wrong with the Human Species?
Off Duty Police Officer Shoots and Kills Man In Dallas, Texas The off duty police officer Amber Guyger entered the wrong apartment and shot and killed Botham Shem Jean after issuing commands. All I can say is to close and lock your apartment door and comply otherwise!
Antwon Rose Police Shooting
Antwon Rose while running away from police was shot multiple times in the back by an inexperienced rookie police officer who had been sworn in hours earlier.
Comply!
Justine Damond Shooting I wish these humans would stop making stupid mistakes.
Law Enforcement needs to train their police officers better and they need to be given job assessment tests. This is necessary to save lives and to build better trust with the community. I am for hire.
PAUL O’NEIL and SEVILLE SMITH POLICE SHOOTING Once again I can’t stress enough how it important it is to comply with law enforcement. One’s wrong bad decisions and actions force law enforcement to shoot and kill subjects. In the case of Paul O’ Neil, if he hadn’t ran away from law enforcement, that wouldn’t have caused the police officer to make a wrong decision and wrong actions to shoot him cowardly in the back. Those police officers didn’t switch mental gears after the car chase and being rammed with the car Mr. O’ Neil was driving. COMPLY!
ALTON STERLING
I am distressed and saddened when police officers use deadly force instead of excessive force on individuals as was done on Mr. Sterling. There were two police officers, they could have done something different instead of shooting and killing Mr. Sterling. This doesn’t have to happen. Police officers need better training. They need to stop letting their fear override their logical re-actions.
Police officers should have warned Mr. Sterling that if he didn’t comply and would continue to go for a weapon (if he had one) that they would shoot and kill him. That may have scared Mr. Sterling into complying with the police and that may have saved his life. Police need to put in more effort if there is a reasonable amount of time before making the deadly decision to shoot and kill the subject. I have such a high respect for human life, I would only kill another person if it were absolutely necessary to same my own life or the life of another innocent person.
Those police officers could have instead attacked a vulnerable area on Mr. Castile’s body that would have induced enough pain so that he would have been subdued. Police officers need better training in order to save lives and to solve the problems that would go with using reasonable or excessive force instead of using deadly force. Reasonable or excessive force may be considered as police brutality but it is better than shooting and killing someone and labeling it a murder. The lesser of two evils have to be taken in order to prevent taking the lives of the subjects.
I need to go across the country and train police officers in basic effective unarmed hand-to-hand combat. I would train them on human anatomy. Then they wouldn’t need to race to using their deadly firearms. This would prevent violent protests and prevent police from being shot and killed from the repercussions from shooting and killing anyone.
After the last three years, has anyone learned anything yet? People need to comply with law enforcement. People need to stop letting their emotions control their actions and to think with a logical and deductive reasoning mind. No one can defeat all of law enforcement. They are the ones with the power and the numbers. Fighting law enforcement only can lead to two things: More serious charges and longer prison terms and being killed. Comply and do what law enforcement tells you to do ! It is so simple and easy to do. This would prevent problems such as being shot and killed by law enforcement! It is a simple solution. Stop getting killed!
People who fight law enforcement have a problem with obeying authority and they see themselves as victims which causes their emotions to rage which totally overrides their common sense and logical deductive reasoning. They allow their emotions to control their actions. Which is the totally wrong thing to do. It is best to man up to a violation and handle the situation as a responsible mature adult. I can’t stress enough how necessary it is to comply when first encountering law enforcement.
I think his shooting was senseless and I’m am also disturbed and saddened by what had happened to Mr. Castile.
When Mr. Castile had said he had a gun, the police officer should have realized that Mr. Castile wasn’t that much of a threat. People who have the intention of shooting someone else don’t tell them that they have gun. That takes away from the element of surprise and initiative. Like when someone is trying to rob another person and the robber is armed with say a knife, that victim doesn’t tell the robber that they have a gun.. They would just take out their gun and shoot the armed robber before the robber has a chance to attack them.
If Mr. Castile had the intention of shooting the officer, he would not have told the officer that he had a gun. Mr. Castile was trying to let the police officer know he had a gun so that the officer wouldn’t be as threatened by him. Mr. Castile was showing good will towards the police officer. But if Mr. Castile had let the officer know that he had a gun at the very beginning of the encounter before anything else happened like when the police officer had first approached the car, then that may have saved his life.
I think there was a misunderstanding. I think as Mr. Castile was getting out what the police officer was asking for is when Mr. Castile said he had a gun. Then the officer may have told him to put his hands up. Mr. Castile may have misunderstood since he was asked to present his driver’s license and proof of insurance and that was what he was concentrating on and going for. Maybe Mr. Castlie showed his gun to the officer in good faith. The police officer should not been so scared until he would see some indication that a gun was being drawn. The police officer “jumped the gun”, he should have waited to see any part of a gun and it being drawn before shooting Mr. Castile. The police officer would have had time to disable a would be shooter.
Police officers also need to learn to control their fear better and to improve their choices, judgement, and their timing. Mr. Castile said he had a gun and that should have been an indication to the police officer of his goodwill. Police officers are not very good investigators yet. It can take only a single key indicator to see the person is not that great of a threat. In crime solving, it may only take a single element to understand a certain and whole situation. As I mentioned, if Mr. Castile had any intentions of shooting the police officer, he wouldn’t have said that he had a gun. Because by doing that would warn the police officer and would place Mr. Castile at a disadvantage and in danger. Low fore headed cop. He didn’t get it.
A strong investigative mind would have understood immediately. But caution would still be needed. I would do everything in my power to keep from shooting someone especially if the risk is not that high. I would risk my safety if it meant not reacting violently until it is absolutely necessary. I would wait up to the last split second before shooting and killing someone. It isn’t that difficult to do. Police officers really need to work hard on their timing.
If I were a police officer I would have handled the situation much differently. I would do everything in my power to keep from shooting someone until it is absolutely necessary. I would have talked the subject into complying and I wouldn’t have shot the subject until close to the time the gun was drawn to a point that I could be shot. Timing. I would have had my gun pointed at the subject’s head in case they drew a gun. Then that would give me the time and timing I would need to disable the would be shooter and to save my own life. The police officer should have used better judgement and should not have shot and killed Mr. Castile. This really pisses me off. Incompetence.
